Janet Gillman is looking for the father Robert Gillman a Canadian serviceman in the Royal Canadian Artillery and had the nick man of "Bud". He was stationed the the Colchester area.

 

 

Janet was born the end of February 1942 so was conceived early June 1941.

Janet's mother is Joan Bruce and lived in East Stockwell Street, Colchester, Essex, when she met Robert during WW2.

Robert was a married man with a 4 year old son in Canada. His father was from Sweden and they had emigrated to Canada. Robert came back after the war but Janet's mother had married somebody else and Janet was adopted.
