Renee is trying to trace her father/Canadian family. Her father is Rene Robert Gaudry a Canadian soldier in The Saskatoon Light Infantry. He was stationed at Wiston House just north of Worthing, West Sussex.  Renee's mother Gladys Foord lived in Worthing. Renee was born in January 1943.  Rene visited Renee and her mother regularly before he left with his regiment to Sicily in July 1943.

Renee's mother received letters from Rene as he fought his way through Sicily and up through Italy.
