Letitia's father Rory Vincent O'Dowd the son of Ernest Webster was born 8th July 1944 to Kathleen F O'Dowd so was conceived  about mid October 1943. She understands that he had three brothers, one also in the RCAF but had already gone back to Canada by 1943, one in the Canadian Army also stationed in the UK, and the other serving with the Canadians in Italy.

I want to assure you that we aren’t seeking anything from “Ernie” or his family, have no recriminations etc and of course we will stay away if we would cause distress but we would love a photo and just to know if my father has half siblings or family.  I wonder  perhaps if he or his family, if they are aware,  would like to know that my Dad turned out great,  and that he has three daughters, four grandsons  and one granddaughter and another grandson on the way so like so many other families in this situation quite a legacy. Letitia

If you feel that you can help Letitia contact her Canadian family please contact us quoting this page number, Thank you.      Page No  71546
