SEN - O'CONNOR or O'CONNELL

Karen is trying to trace her half siblings (twin girl and boy)  born in 1943/4 to her father Walter. B. Sen.  Walter was a Canadian in the Fort Garry Horse, regiment. He met Daisy O'Connor or O'Connell while he was in the UK during WW2. He was stationed in Aldershot, Headley and Hove before moving to Milford-on-Sea and Fawley ready for D-Day 6th June 1944. But Karen is not sure where Walter and Daisy met but they went out with each other for most of the war. The photo on the left of Walter was taken 7th November 1942 when he and Daisy spent time in Aberdeen, Scotland while he was on leave.  Walter was 32 when he signed up in 1940.

  (Wally)  Walter.B.Sen photo taken 7th Nov 1942.

Karen thinks Daisy was married at the time she was seeing Walter. After Walter and his regiment left for France on D-Day he received a bad leg injury while riding a motorcycle. He was returned to the UK for treatment and spent the last few months of the war convalescing at the military hospital in Brighton before returning to Canada late 1945.

Walter was known as "Wally" all his life. So do any Garry's out there remember him and where in the UK he met Daisy.

If you can help Karen trace her twin half sibling  please contact us below and make Karen's family complete.
