Robert is trying to trace his father, he doesn't have a name for his father a Canadian soldier. He was stationed in the Aldershot area of Surrey, England and may of possibly come from Sarnia, Ontario. Robert was born June 26th 1942 in Farnborough, England, so his father must of been in the area 29th Sept 1941 - 14th Oct 1941. His mothers name was:- JOAN RITA BLUNDEN Roberts father was about 25 years and may of been a musician.

Roberts mother was 25 years old when he was born, but he was adopted at the age of three months by a Mr & Mrs Colegate. His biological mother Joan Rita Blunden died in 1995 before he could make contact with her. His biological father gave his mother a ring with the inscription in a circular fashion around the edge. "NORTHERN VOCATIONAL SCHOOL" It also has the word "LASKIE" on the back.

In 1995 Roberts biological mother's eldest brother received a phone call. It was possibly that this was Roberts father or Canadian family. The man asked to speak with Joan Rita Blunden, because the entire family BLUNDEN seems to have been sworn to secrecy regarding Roberts existance, he denied ever knowing a Joan Rita Blunden. If it was Roberts father who made the call he could of been in the UK for the commemoration of the end of WW2. He must of done some extensive research to find his mother's brother. This means that his father or family were looking for him

Robert hopes that he is still alive and someone recognises his photo as he would love to meet his father or his Canadian family.
