David  is trying to trace his father a French Canadian serviceman.  He was stationed in the York area of Yorkshire possibly RAF Dishforth, RAF Linton-On-Ouse or RAF Clifton, which were all in the York area during WW2.       

His father's surname is IRVINE and his first name could be PAUL.

 

 

David's birthmother was Ursula Ann Walker.

 David was born in August 1943 and was conceived at the end of November 1942. His mother was married at the time and David was put up for adoption.
